L.Plan

What is lesson plan anyway?

lesson plan is a teacher's detailed description of the course of instruction for an individual lesson. A daily lesson plan is developed by a teacher to guide class instruction. The detail of the plan will vary depending on the preference of the teacher, subject being covered, and the need and/or curiosity of children. There may be requirements mandated by the school system regarding the plan.

Why is lesson plan is important?

Because it keeps you on track so that you don't wander around aimlessly.Imagine going into a large mall trying to find a store......you do not have a map or brochure of the store and you are trying to find a particular place. It will take you a while to get there....you may even go in the wrong direction a time or two. That is what going into a classroom without a lesson plan is like. Basically, when you have a lesson plan you have your structure and format in the way of objectives, learning activities, and reinforcing activities, etc. It it the difference between having a map when you are planning a trip or just trying to figure out where you are going using the road signs and no map.
